Coming off of a previous win, the Rough Riders were soaring with confidence as they took to their home court against the Azle Hornets. Saginaw was able to hit the ground running at the first buzzer and kept their opponents at a substantial distance through most of the game, holding them back 10 points in the first quarter and setting up a 28-10 margin by the start of the third. The boys in red never looked back and stacked point after point for the rest of the evening. By the final alarm, Saginaw had handily come out on top at 69-43. Lead scorers for the evening were Amar'e Castleberry with 16 points, Eugene Roseberry and Trystan Overman with 10 points each, Willie McCrary with 9 points, and Kyle Ogamba with 8 points.
The Rough Riders are on the road Friday, Jan. 24th, heading to Brewer to face off against the Bears.
