Friday night was a tough fight for the Rough Riders. Hosting the Azle Hornets, the boys in red found themselves in a tight position in the wake of a series of challenges thrown their way. On both sides of the ball, Saginaw fought hard to maintain control of the game, but were unfortunately unable to keep up with the visiting Hornets who found small cracks in the defense to heavily exploit. Despite the setbacks, the Rough Riders continued to compete and battle until the final whistle, managing to make some plays of their own that put them on the board 14-45.
Saginaw travels across the tracks this Friday, October 23rd, staying a little closer to home as they battle the Chisholm Trail Rangers for the coveted Silver Spurs.
