Hosting Chisholm Trail in their second meeting of the season, the Lady Rough Riders sought to deliver a reversal of their previous encounter's outcome. Starting off strong, the girls in red fought ferociously to maintain their hold on the home court, answering their opponent's aggressive offense with and equally vigilant defense. Unfortunately, however, the Lady Rangers managed to find the gaps in their armor and turn the game's tides in their direction, finishing 16-25 and 12-25 in the first and second set respectively. Down to the wire in the third, both team were neck and neck for the majority of the duel, but a final push by their opposition brought the meeting to an end with a razor-thin loss for the home team 24-26.
Friday, October 9th, Saginaw kicks off the fall break with a second game against the Brewer Lady Bears.
