The Lady Rough Riders faced Mineral Wells on Tuesday, going head to head against an opponent that tested the girls' skills. It was a tight race all evening, but in the end, Saginaw was able to pull ahead by just three points to secure a 38-35 win, a great accomplishment for both the team and Head Coach Vance Hughes who celebrated his 400th career win! Leaders of the game were Shaniah Franklin, scoring a total of 16 points on offense, and Jazmine Duncan following closely behind with a solid 12 points.
Next week, Dec. 17th, the ladies return to their home court in a duel against Granbury.
