Head Coach Desiree James called Athletic Performance Ranch "one of the toughest courses we've run this season", but expressed great pride in all the athletes about how they were ready for it. Varsity girls pulled through in the end with 14th place and showed out with a seasonal best from Kamryn Weeks with a time of 23:02.57 and personal bests from Veronica Torres and Brianna Ruiz, respectively coming in with times of 24:21.44 and 26:07.33.
Varsity boys also performed very well as Adan Torres ran a personal best of 18:39.21, leading the team. Sadly, however, due to a timing system malfunction, all the other athletes did not receive a time, but Coach James affirmed that their performances were outstanding.
Cross Country heads to Camp Carter on Friday, Sept. 20th.
