Saginaw gymnastics competed fiercely at the District Championships hosted at Boswell on Mar. 27-28. The boys team clinched first place with a two-day total of 330.9, securing the top spot in all six events. Grant Morgan led the charge, claiming victory in the floor, rings, vault, parallel bars and high bar events, while Jesus Torres secured the pommel horse championship.

Meanwhile, the Saginaw girls earned second place overall with a two-day total of 219.85. Top 3 individual performances included Maya Castillo's second place on the vault, first place on the balance beam, and third place on floor, along with Eva Goode's third place on the balance beam and second place on floor. Chelsie Jefferson earned second place on bars and third place in the All-Around.

Both teams qualified for the Regional Championships at Haltom on Apr. 9-10, where they will compete to earn a spot at State.
