Saginaw competed at the Girls Region VI Powerlifting Meet on Thursday, Feb. 29 at Sherman High School earning a fourth place team finish. The Lady Rough Riders earned a total of 34 points just eight points shy of first place. Francis Arroyo and Bisola Olusomiro placed first in their weight classes. Mila Luangraj and Nghi Tran earned second in their divisions. All four qualified for the State Powerlifting Meet at the Comerica Center in Frisco on Mar. 16. Other individual medalists included Aliana Cintron Gonzalez, Ashley Bailey and Hannah Brown. Congratulations ladies!
