Meanwhile, the Lady Rough Riders finished fifth out of 16 teams in their home meet. Led by the record-breaking team of London Provo, Elsie Zachry, Lacey Clark and Trinity Coleman, the 4x200m relay set a school record with a time of 1:43.31. This marks the third straight season the record has been broken. The team is ranked ninth in 5A and second in the Region. Jazmine Duncan continued the success with a personal best and third-place finish in the 300m hurdles. Provo's performances in the 100m and 200m secured fourth place in both events, with her 200m time ranking as the sixth fastest in the region.
The Rough Riders are back on the track for their next competition at the Kennedale Invitational on Thursday, Feb. 29.
