Saginaw girls powerlifting delivered strong performances at the District Meet on Friday, Feb. 16, at Aledo and secured third place overall team finish. Individual medalists included Mila Luangraj in first place in the 114 weight class, Francis Arroyo finished second in the 165 weight class and Ashley Bailey and Daniella Inana both earned second place in the 198 and 242 weight classes, respectively. Additionally, Hannah Brown and Allison Ortiz took third and fifth in the 220 weight class. Jordan Johnson claimed fourth in the 198 weight class. Sixteen student-athletes advanced to the Regional Meet on Feb. 29 at Sherman High School.
