Despite a tough loss to Chisholm Trail, standout performances included victories by fall from Jayceon Gray, Andrew Diaz, and Dennis Madrid.
The Lady Rough Riders displayed determination against a strong Chisholm Trail team, clinching a close 25-24 victory. Kathryn Lara, Divine Kapinga, and Daniella Inana contributed crucial team points, and Galilea Casas won with a 20-second pin. Although facing a challenging match against the Pioneers on Senior Night, the Lady Rough Riders fought hard, ultimately losing 36-27. Senior Galilea Casas remained undefeated on the night. Daniella Inana secured a win by fall, Divine Kapinga won 6-5.
Saginaw is set to compete in the District 4-5A Tournament on Feb. 1-2 at Vernon High School.
