The Lady Rough Riders opened up their tournament play in the EMS ISD X-Town Shootout against Boswell on Thursday, Jan. 18. The first half witnessed a fierce battle between the two teams, resulting in a tie at the first half 0-0. Boswell kicked off the second half with an aggressive and physical approach and scored the game's first goal. Undeterred the Lady Rough Riders didn't back down. Senior captain Jacky Rangel scored twelve minutes into the second half. The game finished with a score of 1-1.
