While they came up short on the scoreboard, losing in three sets 13-25, 21-25 and 16-25 they battled hard and did have some standout performances. Sheridan Aguilar had 12 digs, five kills and six assists, while Calista Miller had 14 receptions, nine digs and three assists. Aguilar and Amaya McGrew each had an ace on the night.
The Lady Rough Rider are competing in Glen Rose this weekend in a tournament, and will travel to Crowley High School on Tuesday, Aug. 22. Match play is set for 6:30 p.m.
