Saginaw fired up the offense in the first inning, when Frankie Harris drew a walk, scoring one run. Gavin Leadbetter toed the rubber for Saginaw. He surrendered zero runs on zero hits over three innings, striking out three. Grayson Chancellor, Caden Welker, and Cooper Faulkner each contributed in relief for the Rough Riders. Shaun Williams led the team with two hits in two at bats.
The Rough Riders take on Wichita Falls Rider this week. They will host them on Tuesday, March 28 before traveling to Wichita Falls for Friday's game on March 31.
