The Rough Riders advanced to the playoffs for the second consecutive year. Saginaw took on O.D. Wyatt in the Bi-District playoff hosted at Thomas Coliseum on Monday, Feb. 20. The Rough Riders played really well for three quarters against a tough O.D. Wyatt team. Up three points at the half, Saginaw played tough defense and was hot from the field. In the third quarter, Wyatt built a 10 point lead and began holding the ball to run the clock out. The Rough Riders switched to man defense but weren't able to stop the Chaparral's offense. Saginaw was led by Julius Brundage with 13 points, D.J. Palm with 10 points, Israel Stevenson and Cole Wilson with eight points and Jaiden Gastile with five points.
Saginaw finished the season with a 13-16 record and fourth place in district 5-5A. Congratulations on a great season Rough Riders!
