Saginaw competed at home against the Northwest Texans in their first district match up on Tuesday, Jan. 17. Down at the half 25-19 the Rough Riders couldn't overcome the big and physical Northwest team. Saginaw was led by Julius Brundage with eight points, D.J. Palm with seven points, and Jaiden Gastile added six points.

The Rough Riders will start the second round of district play on Tuesday, Jan. 24 when they travel to take on the Aledo Bearcats.
