The Rough Riders dropped a heartbreaker to the Azle Hornets on Friday, Jan. 6. In the lead 31 - 30 at the half, the Saginaw suffered a hard quarter getting outscored 3-13. The Rough Riders came back and cut it down to three points late in the game, but it was too little too late. Saginaw was led by Jaiden Gastile with 27 points, Cole Wilson with eight points, Julius Brundage with seven points, and David Johnson with six points.

Saginaw travels to Granbury on Tuesday, Jan. 10.
