Saginaw dropped their district home opener on Tuesday, Dec. 20. The Rough Riders jumped out 8-2 early in the first quarter but stalled out and found themselves down at the half 19-34. They could not overcome the deficit in the second half and fell to the Bearcats. Saginaw was led by Jaiden Gastile with 18 points, and Cameron Verdun and Cameron Thomas with four points each.

The Rough Riders look to improve as they travel to Brewer on Tuesday, Jan. 3.
