The Saginaw Cross Country team competed in their District Championships at Central Park in White Settlement on Friday, Oct. 14. The varsity boys team wrapped up their season with a fourth place finish. The Rough Riders were led by Regional Qualifier, Brady Brooks, who finished eighth. Michael Burch and Eduardo Yanez earned medals as 19th and 20th finishers. Kyler Rowell finished 21st just missing a medal. The boys improved their times on this course from seven days ago with the team averaging an improvement of 17 seconds.

The varsity girls team finished sixth and was led by senior medalist Adriana Vargas-Concepcion who finished 19th. Newcomer freshman Kamryn Weeks finished 23rd. The girls improved their average by 31 seconds from seven days ago on the same course.

Brady Brooks will compete at the Regional Championships in Lubbock, TX on Tuesday, Oct. 25.
