Saginaw cross country competed in their second meet of the season at the Fossil Ridge Run on of the Panther on Friday, Sept. 2. The varsity boys team finished ninth out of 11 teams in the 6A division. The team was led by junior Michael Burch with a time of 19:01.94 Sophomore Ernesto Monzon Olvera ran a personal best of 19:11.59. In the varsity girls division, Adriana Vargas-Concepcion brought home a medal by finishing 17th overall. Freshman Kamryn Weeks was the team's second finisher. She improved her previous week's time by 37 seconds. The team finished 10th out of 11 teams.

The Rough Riders will compete at the Northwest Invitational on Saturday, Sept. 10.
