The Lady Rough Riders hosted Azle for their second matchup of the season on Tuesday, Oct. 18. Saginaw clinched a playoff spot for the third consecutive year. In a true team effort, the Lady Rough Riders swept the competition. Set scores were 25-20, 25-12, 25-12. Bailee Hewitt led the team with 18 kills and 12 digs. Kylee Turner also contributed 12 digs. The win moves them to 25-16 overall, 6-4 in District 5-5A, and into sole possession of third place.

Saginaw will be back in action at Rough Rider Gymnasium on Friday, Oct. 21 followed by a road trip to Wichita Falls to take on Rider on Tuesday, Oct. 25 in their last district game of the season.
