The Lady Rough Riders traveled to Brewer on Tuesday, Sept. 20, and earned their first district win for the season. Saginaw swept the Lady Bears in three sets; winning 25-18, 25-22, 25-9. Leading the offense was Bailee Hewitt with 13 kills. Kylee Turner led the back row with 14 digs. From behind the service line, Sheridan Aguilar had five aces. The Lady Rough Riders will continue to be on the road for their next two matches. Up first will be Azle on Friday, Sept. 23 followed by Granbury on Tuesday, Sept. 27. Saginaw will be back home against Wichita Falls on Friday, Sept. 30.
