The Rough Riders secured a massive victory over Carrollton Creekview on Friday, securing just over double the amount of points as their opponent! Early on in the evening, a few missteps gave Carrollton the lead, but the boys in red managed to bounce back quickly, iron out the folds in their strategies, and pull ahead with a strong defense to stop the visitors in their tracks. Enrique Cops led the phalanx with an astounding five tackles, two tackles for loss, two sacks, two forced fumbles, and one fumble recovery. Kenneth Gilliam and Cornell Davis followed up the performance with nine and four tackles respectively, the former making one pass break- up and the latter chalking up two tackles for loss, two sacks, and one quarterback hurry. On the offensive side of the ball, the Rough Riders were just as strong, sealing up passages into the back of the field effectively and securing big catches all throughout the evening. Dominique Morales had 11/16, 172 yards, and 3 touchdowns, BJ Canada made 21 carries over 247 yards, and Derek Harris caught three passes over 41 receiving yards.
