The Rough Riders took to their home field for the first time this season on Friday, hosting the Brewer Bears to celebrate our heroic first responders. Saginaw mounted a strong defense in the face of a talented visiting team and fought tooth and nail to overcome. However, the Bears manage to slip through their phalanx and pull ahead in the end, finishing the night with a 20-49 loss for the boys in red. Though an unfortunate loss, the Rough Riders came out the other side with their head held high and eager to utilize what they learned in their next engagement.
Saginaw is away again Thursday, September 10th, to face off against Naaman Forest.
