The Rough Riders' playoff run and successful soccer season came to a close on Friday after a fierce match against Argyle. With two talented and very motivated team on the pitch, it was certain to be an eventful evening. Saginaw and Argyle were stalwart in their defensive play all evening, standing strong in the face of ferocious attacks on their sides of the field. Neither gave way, leading the teams into a nail-biting double overtime duel that unfortunately resulted in an Argyle victory. The boys in red had a tremendous streak this season, and the way that they played Friday night ended off the season and the break on a high note.
