Before heading out for Spring Break, the Rough Riders hosted the Fossil Ridge Panthers in the last in-season game of the year and won handily. It was a very comfortable win for the boys in red, kicking off in the first quarter strong and keeping the pedal to the metal all the way 'til the last whistle. Freshman Luis Salas put the team on the scoreboard early with an assist from Aaden Segovia, and a combined effort from Adrian Hinojosa and Michael Gomez helped widen the gap by another point. Sergio Lozano kept good control of the goal throughout the entire night, as did Tony Hayden, Alex Ploneda, Myu Aung, and Valente Gallardo with solid defense to prevent the Panthers from gaining any momentum.
With this win, the Rough Riders once again qualified for the playoff berth and are back on their home field to take on Argyle on Friday, March 20th .
