Senior Night saw Saginaw hosting their sister school Chisholm Trail in their second matchup of the season. Determined to avenge their previous loss, the Lady Rough Riders came out in force during the first half. The wind to their back provided boost that drove the Lyla Stutz to score during the first seven minutes and maintain a tight defense on their own goal. By half time, the score had remained a steady 1-0 lead for Saginaw, however the side change provided them with quite the challenge. The visiting Lady Ranger took advantage of the down-field breeze - now at their benefit - to pierce the Lady Rough Riders' iron clad phalanx and clinch a narrow win with two goals in the second half. Thought the girls in red only closely lost, their performance far outpaced the previous meeting with their purple schemed opponents, showing great strength and dominance through every minute of the evening.
The Lady Rough Riders are away for their last in-season game on Friday, March 13th, to take on the Fossil Ridge Lady Panthers.
