Tuesday evening, the Lady Rough Riders hosted the Lady Hornets of Azle for the second district match of the season. It was a strong start from the girls in red, with Giselle Saenz and Valeria cooperating to score a goal in the first eight minutes of the game. Sadly, however, the visitors were able to find gaps in the girls defense and pull ahead throughout the rest of the evening. Their brutal offense did not deter Saginaw from fighting back, displaying a great confidence on their home pitch and keeping a consistent intensity until the last whistle.
The Lady Rough Riders head out to White Settlement to duke it out against the Lady Bears of Brewer this Friday, February 6th.
