Saturday started off with a bang for the Rough Riders of the Saginaw Cross Country team, travelling across the tracks for the annual Boswell Invitational. Both the boys and girls performed exceptionally and put up a plethora of personal bests. Chief among them was Adan Torres who finished 7th individually with a time of 16:40.62, cementing him as the #2 all-time runner in Saginaw history. He was followed closely by teammates Wasi Saidan (17:26.34), Andrei Carter (17:45.07), Uriel Kigigha (18:16.40), Zaiden Landers (19:27.64), Nofer El-Maraghy (20:04.31), and Abdiel Retana (20:39.28).
On the girls' end of things, Kritisha Adhikari lead her teammates with a PR of 23:21.44, and Vivian Tran and Lilly Hann both ran seasonal bests.
The Rough Riders are back on the starting line this Friday, September 19th, at Castleberry.
