Friday proved to be pulse-pounding challenge for the Lady Rough Riders as they took on the Lady Panthers of Fossil Ridge. Both teams put up a fierce fight in the battle for dominance over the courts, but sadly, the girls in red were unable to consistently find their footing in order to clinch the win. Despite the loss, however, Saginaw put forth a solid effort that keep their opponent on their toes over the course of four very close sets. With grit and determination, the Lady Rough Riders pushed hard through every play and were able to snag a win in the second round of the rivalry with a 25-19 final score. Through the other games, the team learned a great deal, and they plan on applying this knowledge into all the matchups to come.
The Lady Rough Riders are looking to bounce back tomorrow, September 16th , against the Lady Bears of Brewer and take home sweeping victory.
