The girls in red were already off to a great start on day one of the State Championship, ending off the first round with a comfortable spot in 9th place. However, good enough was not good enough for the Lady Rough Riders who took the mat by storm on day two, stealing one spot higher and tying the programs highest State finish for 8th! there were several top twenty finishes in each event from all of the girls, and Seniors Chelsie Jefferson and Eva Goode were selected to the Team Texas Senior National Team! The two will head to Florida on May 16th and 17th were they will represent the great State of Texas on the national gymnastics stage! Head Coach Bethany Valenga was eager to sing the team's praises, saying "These girls fought through a lot this season and ended on a high note!"
