The Lady Rough Riders were on fire last Thursday and Friday, showing down against their district-mates in the district gymnastics meet. Over a period of two days and multiple events, the girls racked up an impressive 218.35 points which earned them the 3rd place spot in the finals. Every one of the members, according to Assistant Coach Courtney Parker, "played an important role in the success of this 2-day competition." Among them were several top 6 finishers on each of the events and a qualification for the regional meet as a team!
The Lady Rough Riders head to Trinity High School on Tuesday and Wednesday, April 8th and 9th, for the matchup against the schools in the region.
