The Lady Rough Riders showed their love for powerlifting on Valetine's Day by competing in the district meet at Aledo. Putting in the work like they have been all season, the girls pulled together as one and accomplished the impressive achievement of taking home a second place finish. Included in this, individually, were three gold medal winners in their respective weight classes. Among them are Nghi Tran in the 165 class, Hannah Brown in the 220 class, and Bisola Olusomiro in the 242+ class. Ashley Bailey, Allison Ortiz, and Jordan Johnson followed close behind with silver in their weight classes, with Emerson Kurkierewicz and Lorianna Uribe clinching 5th and solidifying a spot for all 12 of the teammates to head to regionals! Way to go, ladies!
