Saginaw Rough Riders grabbed a late lead to secure a 3-2 victory over Chisholm Trail on Saturday, Apr. 13. With the score tied at two in the eighth inning, Saginaw pushed ahead with a crucial run. Pitchers from both teams performed well, with Saginaw's varsity pitchers striking out 11 batters. Devin Behm's seventh-inning double helped Saginaw level the score. Brady Brooks earned the win, pitching zero hits and runs over two and two-thirds innings. Gavin Leadbetter also contributed with two scoreless innings in relief. Leadbetter, Welker, Spaulding, Behm, and Smith, each collected one hit. Next up, Saginaw faces Granbury on Tuesday, Apr. 16 at home.
