In a decisive 8-3 victory over Granbury on Tuesday, Apr. 16, the Saginaw Rough Riders' lower lineup proved pivotal. Brady Brooks, Wade Spaulding and Shelton Rhoades led the charge, accounting for five of the team's eight hits, resulting in five runs scored. Donnie Edgar was the starting pitcher for the Rough Riders. He allowed three runs (two earned) over seven innings, striking out six and walking two.
As Saginaw prepares for their final district game, a rematch against Granbury at Granbury, they currently hold fourth place in District 5-5A with a 5-6 record. First pitch is set for 6:30 pm.
