The Rough Riders came out ready to play in their non-district game versus the Pioneers on Friday, Nov 17. The game was back and forth with Saginaw trailing for the majority of the game. However, in the fourth quarter, the Rough Riders outscored the Pioneers 13-8. With just 14 seconds left, Saginaw surged ahead by four points. Boswell sank a crucial three-pointer with only four seconds remaining. Saginaw secured a two-point lead after making one of two free throws, winning the game with a final score of 54-52. Standout performances from the Rough Riders included Jaiden Gastile (12 points), Julius Brundage (11 points), David Johnson (9 points), Cameron Thomas (7 points), and Jason Roseberry (6 points). Looking ahead, Saginaw will travel to Lake Dallas on Nov. 28 before they compete in tournaments in Granbury on Nov. 30-Dec. 2 and Glen Rose on Dec. 7-9. Fans can catch their next home game on December 12 against South Hills at 7:30 p.m.
