Saginaw came back to secure the district win 7-4 against Wichita Falls Rider on Senior Night. Before the game, the Lady Rough Riders honored their two seniors and Laura Lunceford, a breast cancer survivor, and mom of senior Lexi Lunceford threw out the ceremonial first pitch to her daughter.
Maddy Moors earned the win giving up four runs on five hits over six and a third innings, striking out five and walking one. Gabby Reed threw two-thirds of an inning in relief. Moors and Baylee Baker each collected multiple hits with Moors leading with three.
The Lady Rough Riders are back in action at home for their second district match up against Northwest on Tuesday, March 28 at 7 p.m.
