Saginaw softball earned their first district win against the Azle Lady Hornets on Wednesday, March 15. Maddy Moors led the Lady Rough Riders to victory in the pitcher's circle allowing six hits and four runs over seven innings, striking out five. Moors scored a home run in the fourth inning. Moors, Sayeli Heredia, and Anslee Roberts led the team with two hits each.

The Lady Rough Riders will travel to Granbury on Tuesday, March 21, and be back at home for Senior Night and their Pink Out game on Friday, March 24 against Rider.
