Spring Break kicked off last Monday, but the softball fields were still busy as the Lady Rough Riders hosted the Aledo Ladycats in their first meeting of the season. Sadly, it proved to be a rough matchup for the girls in red, as the visitors came out swinging from inning one and didn't let up. Pitcher Rhyan Angles stood strong in the circle for three inning and struck out three batters, while Whitley Samilo and Anslee Roberts each collected one hit for the team at the plate.
The Lady Rough Riders are back in action on Tuesday, March 24th, taking on the Fossil Ridge Lady Panthers.
