Rough Rider Gymnasium was a battleground Tuesday evening, pitting friendly rivals Saginaw and Chisholm Trail against one another in the second meeting of the season. The girls in red played hard against the visiting Rangers and created a close but decisive lead over the first two sets, winning by scores of 25-17 and 25-23 respectively. Sadly, however, their opponent began to slowly chip away at their defenses over the remaining three matches; and though the Lady Rough Riders fell in the end, it was by a very thin margin that made the away team have to work tirelessly in order to eventually gain the upper hand. Coach Blessing Oladobe expressed great pride in the team, saying, "What a season! The girls have truly grown and it showed on the floor."
Congratulations on another great season, ladies!
