Coming off their come-from-behind win against Boswell last week, the Rough Riders were riding high going into their matchup with the Parrots. Firing on all cylinders, the boys in red were an unstoppable force on offense and an immovable object on defense, maintaining unwavering control over the field from kickoff to the final buzzer. On nearly every possession, Saginaw managed to break through the opponent's line and find their way into the end zone, scoring a massive 62 points to put themselves over the top. Defense formed an impenetrable phalanx, holding back Polytechnic from racking up any points of their own. By the end of the night, and with zero mistakes made, the Rough Riders cemented their victory with a 62-0 final score.
Saginaw is taking a well-deserved rest this week, but return next Friday, September 27th, to take on FW Wyatt.
