First Responder Night was a difficult one for the Lady Rough Riders, ending in a difficult 0-16 final score. The girls fought hard but sadly were unable to find their rhythm on the diamond. Two sacrifice bunts by Lilah Smith and Rhyan Angles, drawn walks by Addison Davis, Valerie Davila, and Lilly Hann, and a hit by Davis were able to put the girls on the plates, but were unable to be transferred into runs. Despite the unintended outcome, the team fought hard and refused to give up, finishing out the game strong with commendable sportsmanship.
The Lady Rough Riders are on the road Tuesday, April 8th, to face off of against the Brewer Bears.
