Over the course of two days, the Saginaw Rough Riders took to the mat of their home gym and swept the competition by showcasing great depth across all events. Every one of the boys stepped up in the times when the team needed them most and helped to assert their dominance over each of the events. Lucas Guhl lead the charge over the course of the evening, clinching the All-Around title, and several others being named District Champions! This included:
- Lucas and Porter Evans on Floor
- Aston Carrasco, Liam Ryniker, and Evan Croft on Pommel Horse
- Porter Evans, Aston Carrasco, and Lucas Guhl on Rings
- Lucas Guhl (2nd) on Vault
- Aston Carrasco and Lucas Guhl on Parallel Bars
- Lucas Guhl, Caleb Whitten, and Aston Carrasco on High Bar
With the season proper finished, the Rough Riders now set their sights on Regionals, scheduled for tuesday and Wednesday, April 8th and 9th, at Trinity. Good luck, gentlemen!
