The Saginaw swim team placed third at the EMS ISD Dual Meet on Saturday, Dec. 16. Sophianne Cortes set two school records while clinching first place in the 200 Freestyle and 100 Backstroke. Vincent Quijano won the 100 Breaststroke while Maddox Miller won the 500 Freestyle and took second in the 200 Freestyle. Aaron Hill placed second in the 100 Backstroke.

The Rough Riders compete at the Carrollton-Farmers Branch New Year's Classic on Jan. 6 and the Heights Winter Invitational on Jan. 13 before they compete at their District Championships on Jan. 26 at Northwest ISD Aquatic Center.
