Thursday was an explosive end to district competition for the Rough Riders. Traveling to the NISD Aquatic Center, both the boys and girls in red took to the water with the same efficiency they have been displaying all season. With the combined efforts from a team of incredibly talented athletes, Saginaw was able to walk away with a strong 4th place finish over all, many of whom performed well enough to advance to the Regionals Championship meet! These included entries from all four grade levels, including the celebrated Athlete of the Meet and District Champion Senior Sophianne Cortes, Junior Aaron Hill, Sophomore Nathan Freytes-Torres, and Freshman Chloe Johnson.
They, along with the other regional qualifiers, travel to Mansfield for the Regional Prelims on Friday, February 6th.
