Taking to the pool for their senior night meet, the Rough Riders found themselves pitted against their district mates, each fighting for first place. Both ladies and gentlemen teams swam with all their might and put up some impressive individual performances that clenched them the third spot on the podium. Sophianne Cortes won the 100 Freestyle and Backstroke, Kenji Cortes won the 200 Freestyle while setting a new school record in the 500 Freestyle for a second place finish, Gavin Masters-Hogan took second in both the 50 and 100 Freestyle, and Divya Chhetri claimed second and third in the 100 Freestyle and 100 Backstroke respectively, with every relay team taking a top five spot.
The Rough Riders are hanging up their coats for the calendar year, but will return on Saturday, January 10th, for the Heights Winter Invitational.
