The Rough Riders delivered a commanding performance at this season's opening meet on Thursday, dominating all six events with precision and skill throughout their individual routines. Leading the charge was Connor Womack with a perfect 10 on the Horizontal bar and strong followings through all of the events, specifically Floor and Pommel Horse. Lucas Guhl showcased elite level execution on the Parallel and Horizontal bars, scoring 10 and 9.8 respectively. Jonathan McDaniel consistently put up strong 9s on Vault and Horizontal Bar. Porter Evans kicked off his senior year with top-tier performances on Floor, Pommel Horse, and Parallel Bars.
After a short Thanksgiving break, the Rough Riders will be back in action in Abilene on Friday, December 12, for the Key City Invite.
