Kristee Porter

 Coach Porter brings a wealth of experience and success at every level of the game, from NCAA Division 1 programs to high school and junior college leadership. Most recently, she served as the head volleyball coach at the University of North Texas, where she elevated the program's national ranking, guided the team to multiple wins against top-ranked opponents, and led them to a top 100 finish with a postseason appearance in the NIVC.

Prior to UNT, Coach Porter made a significant impact at McNeese State University, turning the program from a last-place preseason ranking to a third-place conference finish in just two seasons. Her leadership consistently results in improved team performance, both athletically and academically. Other coaching stops include Henderson State University, the University of Colorado, Navarro Junior College, and Tyler Lee High School.

A graduate of UCLA with a Bachelor of Arts in History, Porter is a four-time All-American and member of the UCLA Athletics Hall of Fame, inducted for her outstanding achievements in volleyball, basketball, and track. She also spent nine years as a professional volleyball player and represented the United States on the National volleyball team. Porter is finishing her master’s degree in Coaching and Athletics Administration at Concordia University Irvine.

Coach Porter brings a student-first, service-minded approach to coaching and will continue to uphold the values and traditions of Saginaw High School Athletics while building a culture of excellence on and off the court.
