Bethany Valenga
Coach (Larimer) Valenga is the head girls gymnastics coach. Prior to being here, she coached gymnastics at a high-level club and taught in Grapevine-Colleyville ISD. While there, she served as a Physical Education teacher. Coach Valenga is an alumnus of Texas Woman’s University in Denton, TX where she received a full scholarship to be a part of the TWU Women’s Gymnastics team. Valenga was a USA Gymnastics Collegiate All-American gymnast from 2011-2014 and a National Champion on Vault and Beam in 2013. While there, she obtained her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology.
Coach Valenga got married in the summer of 2022 to her husband Gui Valenga, and they have an English Bulldog named Pudge. She is the daughter of Angie and Gregg Larimer, both of whom were former teachers and high school gymnastics coaches.
